In this role you will :
The Systems Administrator 3 (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) FSR / Satellite Communications (SATCOM) FSR) maintains smooth operation of GBS, DVB-
RCS, and VORTEX ISR suites. This includes hardware and software configurations. The Systems Administrator coordinates with network and system engineers.
Serves as the subject matter expert on ISR systems. Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and / or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of ISR systems.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of VORTEX, GBS, and DVB-RCS systems, to include hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as network interconnectivity etc.
May propose solutions to management to ensure all ISR requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.
