INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
Primary purpose of job
Provide 3rd line ICT technical support to resolve user’s issues according to the agreed Service Level Agreements to minimize business disruption.
Research and troubleshoot complex Desktop and applications issues with different vendors and users.
Provide user requests fulfilment, awareness, and support by attending all assigned tickets to enhance user’s computing experience within QP.
Package, test and deploy software through SCCM and perform manual installations when required.
Monitor the health of QP PCs in terms of availability of SCCM client along with all of the standard security and connectivity tools.
Maintain and ensure proper documentation of various technical documents, knowledge base, and tickets updates on systems and assets inventory system.
Apply OS updates / upgrades and security patches for all endpoints applications.
Apply IT standards, policies, and procedures on ICT related assets and offered services, and report any breaches to supervisor for proper action.
Communicate customer needs and requirements to supervisor towards achieving high customer satisfaction levels.
Submit ICT related reports requested by supervisor to give management higher visibility of ICT support status.
Analyze user requirements and requests, apply required solutions according to ICT polices and standards.
Experience & Skills
Industry certification in major IT products, e.g. A+, Microsoft, ITIL..etc.
Proficient in the usage / application of standard diagnostic, test equipment and software tools.
Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently and the ability to work with other teammates in collaborative manner
Technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Electronics or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years post-diploma experience in installing and supporting Desktop environment equipment in an enterprise environment (Oil and gas organization is preferred)
