  • Understanding MarketOpportunities & Driving Revenue
  • Targets group / catering accounts, markets, or segmentswith heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and accountsaturation.
  • Partners with group / cateringcounterpart to effectively manage the businessopportunity.
  • Responds to incominggroup / catering opportunities for the property that are outsideparameters of the .
  • Handles all opportunitiesif property does not participate in an EBC.
  • Identifies, qualifies and solicits new group / cateringbusiness to achieve personal and each property s revenuegoals.
  • Focuses efforts on group / cateringaccounts with significant potential sales revenue.
  • Develops effective group / catering sales plans andactions.
  • Designs, develops and sells creativecatered events.
  • Maximizes revenue by upsellingpackages and creative food and beverage.
  • Understands the overall market - competitors strengthsand weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knowshow to sell against them.
  • Closes the bestopportunities for each property based on market conditions andindividual property needs.
  • Uses negotiatingskills and creative selling abilities to close on business andnegotiate contracts.
  • Providing ExceptionalCustomer Service
  • Handles complex business withsignificant revenue potential as well as significant customerexpectations.
  • Builds and strengthensrelationships with existing and new customers to enable futurebookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips,trade shows, etc.
  • Develops relationshipswithin community to strengthen and expand customer base forgroup / catering sales opportunities.
  • Supportsbrand s Service and Relationship Strategy, driving customer loyaltyby delivering service excellence throughout each customerexperience.
  • Provides excellent customerservice in order to grow share of the account.
  • Executes brand s Customer Service Standards and propertys Brand Standards.
  • Executes and supports thebusiness Customer Service Standards and property s BrandStandards.
  • Participates in and practices dailyservice basics of the brand.
  • Executesexemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction andloyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfactionbefore and during their program / event.
  • Servesthe customer by understanding their needs and recommending theappropriate features and services that best meet their needs andexceed their expectations, while building a relationship andloyalty to the property and brand.
