The Role :
Duties include, but are not limited to :
Provides overall project schedule, progress measurement, and changemanagement expertise to the Onshore Project
ReviewsEPC Contractor's project control procedures (home officeand field control procedures) to ensure that Company'srequirements are met.
Ensures that the schedulecontrol & progress procedures are developed and executed bythe EPC Contractor's to monitor its schedule controlactivities and progress reporting.
Coordinates,monitors, and assesses Contractor's efforts in developmentof the EPC Schedule and the Progress Measurement System.
Advises the EPC Contractor's organization withrespect to adequacy of project controls tools, reports andschedules.
Reviews project changes to evaluate detailschedule impact; responsible for quantifying and incorporating theeffect and impact of approved changes in the overall schedule forstewardship purposes.
Advises Project management andProject Leadership Team of any potential schedule issues and whennecessary, provides guidance on, corrective action and measures tomitigate any adverse trends.
Assists in developing and reviewingschedule corrective actions and recovery plans and verifies neededactions / plans are implemented.
Monitors and appraisesthe performance of the EPC Contractor compared to agreed controlplans in the areas of progress and schedule control.
Reviews and checks EPC Contractor's progress reports foraccuracy of progress measurement. Verifies, reviews and endorsesclaimed progress reported by EPC Contractor.
Reviews,monitors and controls the Contractor's EPC schedules forall project activities for logic, level of detail, interfaces, etc(e.
g., Level 3, Level 4, short-term look-ahead schedules).
Reviews EPC Contractor's main subcontractorschedules and ensures that they have been correctly integrated intoOverall EPC Schedule.
Reviews EPCContractor's vendors and suppliers manufacturing durationsfor both critical equipment and bulks and ensures that they havebeen correctly integrated into Overall EPC Schedule.
Reviews and endorses schedule and progress Baselines and forecastsprepared by EPC Contractor.
Analyses of schedule andprogress trends reported by EPC Contractor.
Reviewsschedule basis of Contractor's change proposals - reviewsand endorses changes with regards to schedule and progressimpact.
Analyses of planned quantity metricsprojections for all home office and site disciplines (e.g. Piping,Civil, Electrical, etc.
Monitors actual metrics quantitiescompleted against planned.
Overall responsibility ofplanning section and ensures sufficient action is taken to keep theschedule on track and protect company from potential claims.
Supports PMT with ongoing project schedule and progressanalysis, reporting and forecasting activities :
Develops and maintains project schedules and ensuring that theseproducts reflect the approved project design / execution scope.
Analyses of schedule trends and develop and review scheduleforecasts.
Prepares and compiles Weekly and MonthlyReports (schedule & progress) input to VentureReports.
Responds to ad hoc requests from PMT relatedto Scheduling and Reporting, including development of progressmetrics, and / or key performance indicators.
AssistsPMT in meeting RGEE expectations as required.
Participates in gathering and recording Lessons Learned for theproject that relate to progress and scheduleareas.
