Duties and Responsibilities
1.To organize and monitor administrationand communication with all technical employees within the Engineeringdepartment in order to provide a tangible interface with other operationaldepartments.
2.Receives and records all requests and issues to Engineering Department.
3.Monitors the speed at which requests & issues are attended andprovide a job completed and outstanding report on a daily basis.
4.Informs Director of Engineering of any jobs that have not been completedwithin 72 hours of request.
5.Informs Director of Engineering of any trends or regular items appearingon requests.
6.Completes all illness notifications, termination forms etc., withinpreset time-frame.
7.Ensures all attendance sheets are completed by set payroll date.
8.Monitors planned maintenance against bar chart on a weekly basis.
9.Advises Director of Engineering on the engineering administration problems within the department.
10.Keeps daily records of purchase requests etc. and monitors progressorder stage.
11.Controls completed work registers and monitors progress- to- order stagewhere necessary. When purchase ordersare completed or when the job is complete, to send copies of the completedworks register to Financial Controller.
12.To ensure all external contractors are logged in / out of the Hotel whenthey commence and finish work.
13.To keep daily records of Hotel energy consumption and review them withthe Director of Engineering on a daily basis.
14.To be the department communication point.
15.To maintain information on the movement and appointment of Key employeeswithin the Engineering department.
16.Maintains records of number of employees and company names / contractorsworking within the Hotel.
