As 2nd Commis Chef, you will work in the kitchen areas of the Premium Lounges at Hamad International Airport (HIA) providing assistance to the 1st Commis Chef in different kitchen tasks such as preparation of the items required for food preparation and sourcing of ingredients.
You will perform daily shift requirement as per standard operating procedures and as per the guidance of the 1st Commis Chef.
You will ensure that the highest level of food quality, visual presentation and hygiene standards are maintained.
You will communicate and work together with other team members assigned in different areas such as the kitchen, stores and operations with the objective of seamless integration of duties and functions.
You will ensure that hygienic food and beverage management procedures are followed and that cleanliness are maintained at all times in all areas of the operations.
You will have a High School Diploma with preferably 1-2 years of job related experience in a similar role with the ability to work in a multicultural team.
Sushi skills are highly desirable.
