The Power Production Technician (PPT) will performcorrective operations, maintenance, repair and any other duties asassigned to ensure the safe operation of electrical powerproduction and distribution to various base facilities andrefueling support services as required.
This will includehazardous waste management and any other duties asassigned. The PPT will conduct all job duties outlined inPWS to ensure professional and quality services are provided toCustomer in accordance with program requirements, while maintainingsafety as the highest priority IAW PWS, laws, codes, guidelines,criteria and standards established by international, US government,PWS and manufacturer guidelines.
The PPT provides the highestquality service to the Customer in accordance with programrequirements, while maintaining safety as the highest priority tosupport mission activities in the SOW and be available within 4hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel asrequired.
Must have three (3) years experiencein the electrical power generation field devoted to the operation,maintenance, and repair of electrical power generating and controlsystems
Must haveknowledge of principles of electronics and electricity includinggeneration, conversion, transformation, distribution, andutilization
Three yearsof this experience in a similar role preferably at a US militaryinstallation
Journeymanor master current certification
Excellent organizational and time managementskills
Validdriver's license and passport
Active Secret Clearance with ability tomaintain Secret Clearance
Ability to successfully pass CENTCOM medical requirementsand maintain requirements for duration of deployment
Country visa (as required in linewith the U.S. Department of State Foreign ClearanceGuide)
