JOB PURPOSE :
Provide marketing and market research support to Q.Media Sales Agency employees, such as planning and coordination of marketing programs, analyzing advertisement sales trends, providing market intelligence and performing any other duties related to marketing in order to enhance and drive Q.
Media competitive position.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Participate in development and implementation of Elan Media Sales Agency strategic milestones, business plan and business targets.
Provide significant input into the annual marketing plan, specifically : sales forecasts for each product, required sales promotion programme and the marketing materials needed to accomplish the goals
Champion development of Marketing & Research policies and procedures as well as drive initiatives targeted to overall unit effectiveness increase.
Coordinate planning of various marketing initiatives at Q.Media Sales Agency as well as provide expert advice on their customization to support key sales and customer relationship management activities.
Liaise with Corporate Communications Director to integrate business unit marketing plan with the overall organizational plans as well as to ensure they are in line with Corporate Communications guidelines.
Supervise execution of Elan Media Sales Agency marketing programs to ensure they are carried out as per initial requirements, within assigned budgets and deliver the expected results.
Oversee market intelligence to track competitor activities and performance as well as the industry in general to provide inputs on Q.
Media Sales Agency business planning and business initiatives.
Identify target markets and develop strategies along with sales team to reach them
Identify key market players and potential Q.Media Sales Agency customers as well as liaise with Sales function to utilize business opportunities observed.
Oversee monitoring and analysis of Elan Media assets as well as any other relevant channels to provide feedback on their effectiveness.
Explore ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
Research new technologies and offerings in the market as well as provide actionable recommendations towards their application for Q.Media Sales Agency.
Present research insights and suggestions to relevant company stakeholders
Initiate procurement of marketing services if external expertise and / or extra effort are required as well as provides inputs for the marketing service provider selection.
Develop initial pricing for the Company services as well as facilitate its approval.
Review and provide recommendations towards rate card based on the market intelligence and Company business targets.
Deliver training to the sales team on marketing tools
Ensure implementation of any standards and policies as imposed by Qatar Media Services.
Liaise with business support functions (Finance, HR, IT and other) at Qatar Media Services to ensure that all the required support services are provided on time and of the required level of quality.
Perform any other work related duties as assigned by the Marketing & Research Director.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline
Post graduate degree such as MSc, MBA or PGD in a relevant discipline will be an advantage
Above 4 years of relevant experience
