VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Senior Business Analyst for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company in Qatar with the following skillset and terms and conditions.

  • Minimum Experience & Skills : Minimum 10 years in providing IT Business Solutions with a solid background in IT project environmentsAbility to prioritize recommendations based on implementation complexity and business impactSolid oral and written communication, and presentation skillsProven analytical and problem solving abilitiesKnowledge of Arabic is an advantage and GCC work experience and knowledge of local culture will be an added benefitHigh attention to detail and accuracyFlexibility and a related ability to work autonomouslyA team player willing to work on tight timelines and contribute when requiredA positive attitude, patience and persistence, especially when dealing with various internal and external stakeholdersProven track record of successfully managing numerous small initiativesKey responsibilitiesLeads research and requirements gathering;
  • process analysis; investigation of existing functionality; gap analysis; participation in design of new functionality; ensure functionality or products satisfy the client requirementsParticipate in project walkthroughs : business requirements gathering, design walkthrough, functional test plans and implementation sessionsPerform product testing to ensure product quality is maintainedContribute to the implementation of new products and communicates effectively between internal and external stakeholders to ensure product satisfaction is maintainedCore DutiesAnalyse business needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes)Develops overall strategies and provides advice on options, risks and costs versus benefitsCommunicates with stakeholders of varying technical ability and subject matter expertise and explains services to clients to ensure they have a clear understanding of IT roles, processes, and activitiesManages liaison relationship with clients to ensure technical solutions meet user needsConducts feasibility studies and drafts proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managersDevelops and assists in the presentation of business casesLeads short and long term planning sessions to implement integrated business solution improvementsIdentifies, elicits, and documents business requirements, defines business rules and communicates requirements for the implementation of business solutionsPrepares functional, system and program specifications bridging multiple projectsReviews test plans and monitors the testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal riskProcures technical assistance to help in problem resolutionProvides technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced individualsMaintains appropriate professional designations and up to date knowledge of current information technology techniques and toolsPerforms other related duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications : Bachelors in Information Systems or Computer ScienceRelevant Business analysis or Six Sigma certification is preferred but not mandatoryKnowledge of process modelling, workflow diagramming, use case documentationTerms and conditionsJoining time frame : 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)
