The Head of Sales and Marketing is fundamentally accountable for all Sales and Marketing functions of the Automotive Division, reporting to the Managing Director.

A key member of cross functional committees that shares best practices and subscribes to value adding initiatives amongst their peers.

As a member of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible to contribute to commercial and strategic decision making in order that Sales and Marketing achieve their Financial & Operational KPI’s in a timely manner analogous to the objectives set.

You will develop & implement unified business strategies to further enhance employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to :

  • Achieve budgeted sales volumes, gross margin and net profit levels for New Cars, Motorbikes, Power products & Marine, Used Cars, Marine and generators.
  • In line with the business strategy and directly with the Branch Management ensure that programs and controls are in place to achieve the calendarised budgets.
  • Develop / Maintain Strategic Pricing model to enable sales to achieve their volume and GM objectives. Develop Tactical Marketing campaigns to ensure that the business objectives are achieved.
  • Maximize efficiency between vehicle order and invoice to reduce the stock holding days to match the strategic / tactical plan.
  • Ensure that correct levels of the right caliber of staff in line with budget are recruited across defined areas of responsibility.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching and development support.
  • Ensure that incentive schemes are motivational and in line with group policy and budget. Quarterly reviews are essential in order to measure success.
  • Ensure that the Delegation of Authority (DOA) is strictly adhered to by all employees.
  • Ensure that the Sales Operation achieve the CSI result in line with the strategic objective
  • Produce stretching yet realistic budgets for the Vehicle Operations to ensure continuous development and improvement of the business.
  • Ensure that the vehicle branch network is maintained properly in line with Domasco and the Principal CI principals.
  • Deliver a self-supporting Approved Used Car operation for DOMASCO passenger car brands in order to enhance Sales, the customer proposition and core Brand values.
  • Work with aftersales team in developing workshops as a stand-alone, to enhance the aftersales experience and meet CI requirements.
  • Review actions as required to manage stock levels proactively.
  • Confirm to credit polices stipulated within the DOA and recommend additional facilities when required with relevant cost / benefit analysis as and when required.
  • To be eligible for the role you must have 10 years Sales & Marketing experience of which 5 years as a Senior Manager within in a related field.

    You should be a Graduate in Marketing / Business Admin or related fields.
