Key Responsibilities :
Attend the daily line up in time and well groomed
Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper
Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments
Check with Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift
Review assigned area and complete general removal of any trash or debris
Stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment
Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools and equipment
Ensure that nothing is stored in stairwells, fire exits and lift landings
Remove dust, dirt, marks and fingerprints from doors and door frames
Polish all brass surfaces to a high gloss
Stock vending machines in public and employee bathrooms
Be fully aware of the Laundry Pick up policy and be able to assist the Laundry Attendant
Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor
Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor
Desired Skills & Qualifications :
Equivalent of Middle School Graduate preferable
Previous hotel-related experience beneficial
Knowledge of proper chemical handling
Physical ability to handle heavy duties
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, hotel personnel and service company representative to their understanding.
Flexibility in terms of scheduling
