Main Duties / Accountabilities : Understand and promote the (Quality Assurance)requirements and supporting compliance procedure expectations.
Establish and support proactive and collaborative workingrelationships with contractors and applicable third partyorganisations.
Ensure project plans, procedures and programs are inplace in accordance with the Quality Assurance Policy requirements.Review project scopes of work for CAT IV-VI Projects to determinethe necessary extent and frequency of quality verificationactivities.
Plan, manage, lead and participate in assigned ProjectQMS verification activities. Review contractor / supplier qualitydeliverables for conformance to quality requirements andexpectations (I.
E. PQP, PEP, ITP, Criticality Rating assessmentsand QA / QC procedures). Lead and participate in assigned qualityverification activities.
Coordinate site and workshop inspectionactivities, and assign adequate inspection resources to effectivelymeasure conformance to requirements.
Conduct and Lead Externalquality audits and internal self assessments to gauge theeffectiveness of the quality management system Evaluate and monitorthe performance of QC inspectors and QC Leads, and identifytraining requirements to continually improve the performance of theQuality Team.
Steward the NCR process for all identifiednon-conformances including NCR / CAR issue, RCFA, dispositionapproval and close-out.
Identify quality-related lessons learned,and propose suitable corrective actions to improve work processesand prevent further undesirable consitions / situations.
Act onbehalf of the Quality Engineering Specialist for allproject-related quality queries, concerns, issues, plans andprogress etc.
if required. Monitor the quality performance ofcontractors / applicable third party organisations and communicateproject quality metrices and statistics effectively with theproject team.
Ensures mechanical acceptance, and completion ofpre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to projects.Promote the company health, safety and environment requirements andensure that they are adhered to during project activities.
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries : Works inaccordance with the Quality Assurance Policies and directives fromthe Head of QA / QC Projects Provides QA / QC support andrecommendations to the projects team, shutdown group andmaintenance department.
Works with in established company corporateand industry policies and procedures Communications and WorkingRelationships : Attends regular meetings with QG Quality EngineeringSpecialist to discuss ongoing QA / QC matters and work priorities.
Prepares and leads external QA audits of contractors and internalQA assessments. Attends internal interface coordination meetings asrequired, to discuss all matters related to QA / QC issues / concerns.
Chairs daily QA / QC meeting with the quality team. Close liaisonwith Integrity & Plant QA / QC teams to ensure that workprocesses and practices comply with the quality requirements andexpectations.
