About Your Job : In this role as RMS Controller you will manage Qatar Aviation Services Resource Management Support team section within agreed standards and financial targets.
You will provide support for resource management system configuration and setup, database maintenance, business process testing and migration.
You will deliver a consistently high standard of operation in line with respective Customer airline Standard Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements.
You will setup RMS business rules (Engagement times, OT rules, resource utilization) for different RMS modules, thus assisting with the system rollout in various areas.
Key Accountabilities : Define and manage the engagement standards per department in agreement with the Line Management, leading to the system data being completely aligned with the operation on ground.
Measure the departmental performance regularly according to QAS KPI’s in order to achieve positive results.
Verify the reliability of system entries (Human resources Data, schedules etc) to secure 24 / 7 operations.
This would also assist in bridging the gap between the system results and the operational concept being used in the real life operation.
Write specifications for change proposals / requests, control system interface efficiency and secure system integration leading to better system data control.
This would also mean that the system is always fully equipped to produce optimum results.
Provide solutions or workarounds to all incidents raised by operational departments leading to a better support structure for the Line Management.
Control support team performance and improve the workflow process in order to maximize staff efficiency in the department.
Verify the consistency of planning studies and suggest corrections if required, thus guaranteeing the accuracy of the results delivered.
About You : To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience Project Management diploma is an added advantage.
You must have experience in real time rostering or planning within an operational environment.
You should have RMS Setup expertise with excellent knowledge on MS Excel (advanced).
You should have system administration skills along with an overall understanding of system integration.
Operational Business knowledge of Ground handling is highly desired.
