About the Job :
Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking an experienced Cargo Operations professional to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a platform that allows a process of continuous review and improvement to be carried out within the region, this includes operational monitoring, data interpretation, initiating corrective measures, process improvements and to ensure operational robustness, simplicity and efficiency.
You are also expected to have strong involvement in analyzing performance level, trend analysis on key indicators and present reports on region’s performance for the higher management to facilitate daily business decision making.
Daily important functions will include periodical conference calls / meeting with different station to follow up on the performance review and ensure regular checkpoints are identified and work with operations team on change management and effective adoption of processes.
You will support RFP (request of proposal) documentary and Technical evaluation process for existing or new operations. Also initiate improvements that enhance revenue and develop SOP’s / LOP’s region wise as per the operations requirement.
Working alongside with Regional Team across Qatar Airways Group you will ensure all operational matters in the region are performed in a timely manner and maintain a satisfactory balance of On Time Performance and customer service in line with the company’s business goals and establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with all relevant departments.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of Relevant College or University Qualification to min Bachelor’s level or equivalent.
This position essentially requires you to have minimum of 5 years of work experience within Airline Experience or Air Freight.
You would be required to have an understanding of the IATA Cargo Handling, Air Cargo Operations Management and DGR regulations and must possess a strong decisive and collaborative leadership style.
You will also have good planning skills, be exceptionally organized and proven influential and consultative approach, solution focus, and strong negotiation skills will be paramount.
You must also possess excellent communication and analytical skills and experience of inspiring and engaging a large workforce is very much needed in this role.
You must also be a good communicator with a team oriented personality.
