About Your Job :

You will manage a team of specialists in delivering Technical MRO system for managing aircraft maintenance within a given business stream (Supply Chain / Finance, Maintenance Execution and CAMO / Part M).

You will also manage in timely and cost effective manner, implementation of the system changes, including driving project and change management, end user training and acceptance testing of the system.

  • Tactical / Operational

  • You will be responsible for definition of the implementation plan, reference data and data migration requirements in order to ensure successful MRO system implementation.
  • You will Identify functional gaps between the business requirements and proposed or existing systems and manage the process of modifying systems as needed, or collaborating with business stakeholders to get the processes redefined.
  • You will develop Standard Operating Procedures and Technical Procedures Manual for MRO system.
  • You will provide end user acceptance signoff on completion of defined test plans in compliance with the contractual obligations with the MRO system provider.
  • You will ensure the delivery of systems user training through creation of training material by the systems specialists and collaboration with the Technical Training department for delivery of the training program.
  • You will also be responsible to create and manage implementation of the data analytics processes and MRO system usage monitoring which will lead to the automation of KPI and operational reporting and verify that identified data controls are in place.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring that suitable test plans are in place for new releases of MRO System.
  • You will provide strategic guidance to the Team in the identification of system gaps and implementation of solutions.
  • You will contribute to the development and implementation of MRO System strategy by analyzing and presenting data on the usage and performance of the System.
  • You will also develop and implement a Technical MIS Repository for weekly, monthly, KPI reporting.

  • You will ensure that business processes are aligned with the optimal functionality of the new MRO system.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts within the identified stream to ensure that all business requirements are identified and covered by the systems.
  • You will also manage the communication of system and business process changes to all stakeholders in the business stream to ensure best practice change management and optimal acceptance of the systems.

  • You will ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace.
  • You will take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
  • Preferred

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in the identified stream (Supply Chain / Finance, Maintenance Execution and CAMO / Part M), covering business process improvements, systems development and implementation.
