As the Revenue Analyst, you will support the Revenue Management Operations team to ensure that properties and brands adhere to rate and inventory brand standards.
The team member will assist in rate and inventory projects, CR installation pre audit, revenue management technology enhancements and issues, and will be a member of the Revenue Management Operations team which acts as an escalation point for property and brand rate and inventory questions and issues.
Perform various tasks for the RM Operations team, including but not limited to : running weekly reports, running system validation audits, analyzing and cross referencing data to uncover potential opportunities and inconsistencies, posting communications to intranet sites, and maintaining RM Operations mailbox and calendars
Provide system audit reports, ad-hoc analytical reports as needed using Excel to create, consolidate and modify workbooks utilizing pivot tables, V lookups / formulas, and graphs
Support RM Operations for all rate and inventory initiatives, including mass rate builds, brand rate plan audits, and new rate programs for all WHG brands.
Work with managers, brands and properties on escalated rate and inventory availability and / or technology issues.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must be effective in proactively handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary under the supervision of the Revenue Management Operations team.
Must have the ability to assimilate information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers.
Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Education & Experience
Four year degree in business administration, economics, IT, or related discipline preferred.
At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
Knowledge of Wyndham reservation and distribution systems strongly preferred.
Knowledge of SynXis CR strongly preferred
Hotel based Revenue Management experience strongly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem solving ability; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Solid computer skills with proven proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Pre-opening experience is a plus.
