The Role :

  • Develops and / or approves Procurement and ConstructionSurveillance Programs per the Project Quality Plan (PQP) andsupports Engineering Surveillance Program.
  • Monitors theeffective oversight of Contractors Engineering, Procurement andConstruction quality efforts
  • Establishes Companysurveillance assessment schedules and ensures assessments areconducted timely in manner.
  • Coordinates and participatesin Engineering, Procurement and Construction phase Quality Auditsand verification of follow-up activities.
  • Providesleadership and support to the Quality and Information ManagementTeam
  • Provides input to the Organization Planning toensure coverage of all work areas
  • Establishes, conductsand records project-specific quality orientation & training
  • Reviews & approves Contractor's ProjectQuality Plans & procedures
  • Reviews &approves Contractor's internal & external qualityaudit schedules
  • Reviews & approvesContractor's Quality personnel assigned to the project
  • Ensures appropriate personnel review & approvedeliverables of EPC Contractor & any sub-contractors (e.g.,Plans, ITPs, etc)
  • Monitors and measuresContractor's quality performance.
  • Stewardsresolution of quality issues and or elevates to PQM as required
  • Interfaces with Procurement Quality Specialists toverify Vendor quality for Equipment and Materials
  • Applies extensive hands-on, industry-based experience &knowledge to promote & establish existing systems,processes & procedures within a structured qualityframework
  • Manages the implementation of Quality and IMsolutions in a timely & cost-effective manner thatcompliments safety, cost & schedule
  • Promotes andmonitors key processes such as Deficiency Reporting, SpecificationDeviation, Non-conformance reporting and Corrective Actionreporting etc.
  • and ensures Contractors contractual compliance

  • Requires the ability to effectively communicate qualityat project & functional level
  • Persuasivemanagement attributes are essential across all levels of theorganization with an ability to establish & maintaingenuine & responsive relationships
  • Effectiveteam player who collaborates well with others
  • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity in dealing with allparties and communicates concisely in written and verbal context;
  • prepares high quality written reporting

  • Ensures COMPANYLessons Learned are implemented and verified Essential Skills / Qualifications :
  • years' experience withQuality Management Programs and Quality Control activities forexecution of mega projects in the Oil & Gas ConstructionIndustry.
  • Preferred : Associates Engineering orEngineering degree Metallurgical, Welding, Mechanical or Science
  • Experience with multi-national contractors &vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of LNGPlants and facilities.
  • Strong coordination skills,extensive quality experience in responsible roles on major oil& gas engineering & construction projects
  • Experienced in facilitating & coordinatingefforts to troubleshoot project issues.
  • Experience withconducting audits and assessments of work processes and procedures.
  • Experience with LNG plant construction includingpneumatic testing, preservation procedures and flangemanagement.
