  • Identifies areas of improvement in the Employee Relations processes and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Provides recommendations to HRBP / HRED regarding delivery of services by the department and coordinates all administrative aspects of HR processes and procedures in the division.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for employees with Human Resources-related issues that are not connected with payroll;
  • serves as an advocate for staff and identifies solutions that will positively impact the employee experience.

  • Provides support to employees in interpreting and understanding policies and procedures.
  • Assesses a relevant issue or case; coordinates with and makes referrals to relevant Human Resource functional areas and provides the necessary follow up until the conclusion of the event.
  • Participates in the promotion and maintenance of effective communication, staff engagement and teamwork, communicates frequently with management and staff to remain abreast of and foster high morale and employee engagement.
  • Evaluates existing procedures and adopts methods and approaches, when necessary, to leverage on them
  • Assesses and monitors organizational sickness and turnover rates and trends, and provides feedback and suggestions to management.
  • Utilizes data provided by other Departments such as those gleaned from staff satisfaction surveys, and monitors Sidra activity against international trends and practices for retention.

  • Supports management and employees with conflict resolution.
  • Works with management and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Liaises with and provides guidance and coaching to employees on grievances, escalating issues to the Human Resources Director as necessary.
  • Investigates issues that might lead to formal disciplinary action being taken against an employee.
  • Assists with the production of letters for employees for various government or external agencies.
  • Liaises with employees during their off boarding process to ensure a smooth departure with no unforeseen issues with the authorities, banks or any other third party.
  • Updates HR Information System as required.
  • Produce HR reports for HRBP and HRED.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor and upholds the organizational values at all times
  • Acts as a role model for staff and assists in promoting and sharing knowledge via mentorship / preceptorship programs.
  • Follows all policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to Sidra s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
