We take pride in delivering exemplary customer service. In this newly-created position, you will be a very active and visible member of our elite Customer Experience Team.

You will be on-site with our customers, with the ability and expectation to take ownership of issues and concerns that may arise and resolve them to customer satisfaction.

You will love this role if you know the ins and outs of internal combustion engines, love to travel, have a passion for delivering great customer service, and feel great satisfaction when you discover a problem and resolve it.

50% On-site Engine Technical Support

  • Provide on-site technical support at the Aviara manufacturing and assembly facility in Merritt Island, FL.
  • Provide hands-on time-critical troubleshooting and support for Ilmor Marine Engines as they are installed into new boats on the manufacturing line
  • Address E-store questions
  • Answer Pit Lane (CRM) questions
  • Field general questions from dealers
  • Provide remote-site warranty support
  • Supply new boat testing & support
  • Assist with boat operation, product installation and on-water testing
  • Write technical documentation (work steps) to support the installation technicians
  • 50% Dealership Service Support

  • Write service bulletins (gather engineering & operation support as required)
  • Service school training & curriculum development support
  • Answer service request calls & e-mail, and enter notes and relevant information into CRM system
  • Provide OEM installation training and certification customers (including Stern Drive)
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Travel as required
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ of experience in engine technical support
  • 3-5 years’ of boating experience Sterndrive and Inboard applications
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft applications
