Make sure that the correct ordering procedures are followed, and that every order is done through a captain orderMaking sure that food is prepared as standard or as requested by the customerMinimizes dangers by following all safety rules and regulationsMonitors and controls the cleanliness of the kitchen areas and equipmentKeeps tight control on wastage.
Prepares his working station and check all the preparation of dishes and ingredients before the beginning of serviceImmediately inform the restaurant supervisor or manager of any irregularity or problemMakes full hand-over to responsible supervisor of following shift.
Is fully briefed about accident, fire and evacuations procures.Prepare, arrange and serve all Food according to the standards set by the head chef.
