The Project Manager is the primary interface with RigNet’s customers from contract award until the project equipment is fully deployed and operational.

They are responsible to deliver the Project solutions within the constraints of Scope, Schedule, Quality and Cost.

The Project Manager is responsible for the management of key client projects within the Company policies and procedures.

The Project Manager works with all phases of the assigned projects and is authorized and accountable to deliver the services or products in accordance with the client contracts.

The Project Manager works with all project stakeholders and resources to develop and deliver the client solution to the agreed and documented specifications whilst raising any variation orders and managing both technical, scope and commercial risk to the project.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Compliance with Company policies, standards and regulations.

Adherence with Company Values

Manage the Company process’ to deliver assigned projects within Cost, Quality and Schedule

constraints.

Coordinate with internal managers / leads for the flawless execution of projects

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Review resource allocation and availability with managers / leads and escalate issues

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate

verification techniques

Successfully manage the relationship with the client

Perform risk management to minimize project risk

Provide project accounting with weekly or bi-weekly labor cost information detailing the people

working on the project and the hours spent working on the project for each week

Review and approve all purchase requisitions that cover material and cost that are with the limits of the AFE and are in the plan and budget of the project.

Pass the approved purchase requisition

to the order entry person for entry into SAP to generate a PO

Review in detail along with project accounting all of the financial information contained in and

maintained by accounting in the project financial tracker, including the project financial summary

Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels

of management.

Ensure that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team and all levels of management and documented appropriately.

Ensure open communication on the project team. Addresses delicate situations and handles conflicts in such a way as to maximize opportunity and minimize exposure to risk.

Any other adhoc tasks

QUALIFICATIONS : Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

HND or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication or Computer Sciences or relevant experience

Professional Accreditation such as Prince, PMP or working towards these.

Experience with Telecoms construction management

Ability to communicate with people at all levels and participate in teamworking

Effective delegation and time management skills to all levels of the organization and client

interfaces

Capable of working under pressure and the ability to multi-task effectively both independently

and within a team

Flexible and willing to meet customer requirements

Experience in Primavera, Visio and standard MS Office applications including Microsoft Project

Travel may be required locally and internationally
