To oversee and manage the research projects over several research linesfor the research center

Key Responsibilities :

  • Participates in setting the research plans andresearch targets of the center
  • Monitors progress of all research projects in the center
  • Acts as a technical focal point for all researchprojects in the center
  • Participates in identifying new projects and newfunding sources, prepares budgets and offers for new opportunities
  • Assists the director in research resourcesutilization and load distribution planning
  • Leads the tender / award process to submit efficientoffers / budgets to center customers
  • Facilitates communication with academic andresearch Principle Investigators and their teams.
  • Works closely with internal scientific, facilities,purchasing, business and legal team’s members to ensure projecttimelines and goals have been communicated and coordinated.
  • Organizes and manages logistics and resources forprojects so services are provided effectively, efficiently and timely.
  • Develops and implements project managementpractices and aspects such as project planning, developing projectspecific milestones and timelines, project tracking and reporting ongoals and deliverables to all project stakeholders.
  • Maintains relationships with other customersregionally and internationally.
  • Responsible for anticipating and resolving projecttimeline and resource conflicts.
  • Observe work in progress to insure that proceduresfollowed and materials used conform to specifications.
  • Provides regular reports on projects status.
  • Preparation of various types presentationsregarding the center research projects as needed and assigned
  • Participate in recruitment of research staff, theirevaluation and professional development.
  • Perform other tasks and duties that may beoccasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role andthe aims of the University.
  • Qualifications

    Education and Certifications :

  • Master’s degree in science, business, orrelated field is required, PhD preferred.
  • Languages :

  • Proficiency in Arabic and English both verbal andwriting are necessary.
  • Experience :

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in ascientific environment with progressive responsibilities for projects.
  • Non Academic :

    1. Curriculum Vitae with cover letter.

    2. Experience Certificates.

    3. At least three references including contact numbers and email addresses.

    Academic :

    1. Current Curriculum Vitae.

    2. Cover letter.

    3. Teaching, research, and service philosophy.

    4. Three referees’ contact information (physical and emailaddresses as well their telephones contact).

    5. Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree ifgraduated from an institution where course work was completed.

    However,if no course work was completed, an copy of certificate letter from theregistrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding yourhighest academic degree).

    6. Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.

    Non Academic :
