InterContinental Doha is looking for Engineering Coordinator to join our team.

As an Engineering Coordinator, youwill report to the Director of Engineering or as otherwisedirected by the Hotel. The primary responsibility of this role is that youwill assist the day-

to-day operations by being the go-to person in thedepartment. You will act under the supervision of Director of Engineering.

Youwill be responsible for the operation and administration of Chief Engineer’sOffice. You will work with the D.O.E. to carry out responsibilities as assignedto him and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

You willreceive all incoming correspondence, stamp the date, sign and submit these tothe D.O.E. You will be responsible for preparing monthly Utility and EnergyConsumption Report, take dictations, reply to correspondence, prepare monthlyengineering reports, record outgoing payments, demonstrate understanding andawareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and FireLife Safety.

You will be required to prepare monthly attendance, vacationreport etc.

  • Ultimately, you will beable to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Theideal candidate will be a self starter with the ability to work with minimalsupervision, understand the business and link the business environment to IHGcommitments;
  • will be adaptable and flexible with the ability to buildrelationships, influence, gain trust and support of senior managers.

  • Youwill have exceptional planning, organizing and coordinating skills withattention to detail; system and data analysis skills;
  • strong operational focusand track record of delivering results and achieving targets; possess a highlevel of integrity to lead by example and gain respect of peers andcolleagues.

    Additionally, you will need to exercise completeconfidentiality and diplomacy.

    Middle East or GCCexperience is a plus.
