Description :

  • Developing procurement strategies that are innovative and cost-effective.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Compare proposals for price and specifications. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to reach for the best prices, service, and delivery deals.
  • Review commercial aspects and contract specifications.
  • Determine and review quantity and timing of deliveries.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensures materials arrive on time and within the budget.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers.
  • Schedule procurement and identifies long lead items needed to be purchased to ensure each is available onsite at the right time.
  • Prepares timeline for such line items as shop drawings, material approvals, project contract and understand procurement schedule for MEP items and system.
  • Coordinating the procurement schedule with Project Manager and project construction schedule.
  • Responsible for managing contracts, change orders, submittals and collaborate with vendors & suppliers to adjust deadline & renegotiate contract terms due to situations change during construction.
  • Prepare, maintain and review purchasing records, produce management reports, track the status of requisitions, LOI / contracts, orders, and approve invoice for payment.
  • Monitor and support returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims.
  • Ensure warranty certificates for all related MEP System.
  • Review and approve comparison for purchasing orders.
  • Approve LPO & verify accordance with material request & within the required delivery schedule.
  • Develop workflow process in line with ERP software system.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by General Manager Qualifications :
  • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in relevant field
  • Track record of success in supporting a major business contract, Business Unit.
