Sales Supervisor is responsible to the day-to- day supervision of showroom / retail outlet in line with compliance overall company retail policies and procedures.
The main focus for the sales supervisory post is a successful implementation of consumer care and performance of the showroom / retail outlet by increasing sales and staff professionalism by following-up training and development activities in the showroom.
DUTIES AND RESONPONSIBILITIES :
DRI : Direct responsible for all operations inside the location / store
Build strong customers’ relations and respond to consumer inquiries and complaints.
Monitor sales activities to ensure target achievements
Supervise staff engage in sales, inventory-taking and consumer services.
Examine products received for merchandize or for storage to assess the condition of each item.
Record and report summary of sales and requisitions
Implement safety, health and security rules.
Conduct follow-up training implementation of sales and consumer service.
Supervise required sales operations such as cleaning, organizing shelves, displays and selling.
Suggest future sales forecasts, volumes to maximize profits
Maintain awareness of market trends in retail industry to better understand consumer initiatives and buying patterns.
Monitor and report local competitor initiatives and activities and write comprehensive reports to Business manager about it
Other works related to sales and retail operation as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Certificate in Retail Knowledge or Professional Degree in Retail Management
At least 2 years work experience in related retail operations; supervisory experience is preferred
Working knowledge in retail sales operation, health security and safety; staff work schedule planning, staff supervision and motivation
Excellent communications and people skills, strong commitment to customer service, ability to handle challenging store operation and staffing situations, ability to liaise and build a good working relationship with managers, the decision making and sense of responsibility;
basic Arabic is a must.
