Job Title : Deputy Head of Operations
Our Client is looking to expand their team and hire a Head of RetailOperations to oversee this rapidly growing business segment.
His main responsibilities will be overseeing andstrengthening the day to day operations of the current supermarkets across alllocations.
He will also assist in generating and implementing the expansionplans including SOP’s, training and liaising with vendors as well as suppliers.
He will be the driving force behind this area of the business and itsexpansion. He will work with the team to increase revenue and brand awarenessin the market, and will work very closely with Operations Business Head toensure smooth operations at all times and that all revenue targets are not onlyachieved but exceeded.
Coordinate, monitor, and manage various stores / brancheswithin a particular geographic region.
Improve regional processes, policies, and practices so as toachieve company’s goals and ensure regional stores adhere to company-wide laiddown rules and guidelines.
Help improve the efficiency of support services likecommunication channels and IT; and also ensure free flowing communicationamongst the stores.
Work hand-in-hand with top management (serving as a linkbetween them and the individual stores) in order to develop and implement newplans / ideas that will enhance the operations of the company at large.
Assist in the recruitment of staff, establish work schedulesfor staff being put in place, and evaluate staff performance at the end of agiven period.
Help plan and support marketing and sales activities.
Check on individual branches to make sure they are fullystocked and operational.
To build good relationship with managers and staff and encouragethem to achieve our goals and also retrench workers who tend to embark onprocedures that are detrimental to company activities.
Oversee performance-based bonuses / salary increments that aregiven to workers that merit them.
Give feedback on how the entire region functions to seniormanagers on a regular basis so as to ensure that company general activitiesflow on the same wave length.
Development & articulation of the vision & strategyfor the retail channel.
P&L Ownership - Responsible for ensuring that therevenue targets from the lines of business are achieved or exceeded.
Setting up the complete ecosystem of Omni channel andonline-to-offline business.
Oversee the development and implementation of standards ofbest practice and operating procedure throughout the retail channel.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in RetailOperations and prior experience in hypermarket is must.
