About the role

To assist the day to day activities of the department and ensure the recording of the daily receiving and reconciliation of store and inter- transfer requests for proper cost allocation while maintaining accurate inventory reconciliation

Responsibilities :

  • Perform test checking on receiving and store for the agreements of description, quantities, count and weight against actual receiving and conformance of purchase orders, to ensure stock are received correctly as per standard.
  • Preform the recording of the daily invoice and arrange the receiving report for proper documentation and submit to finance department in a timely manner.
  • Verify all posted invoices, transfer order or any other inventory related documents to ensure the accuracy of inventory data posted in to the inventory system.
  • Follow up the landed cost of each overseas shipment and assign the cost accordingly to the related shipment
  • Conduct spot check in outlet and kitchen to ensure all consumption are properly recorded.
  • Participate in the monthly food and beverage inventories count
  • Randomly test the inventory of outlets by reconciling the opening stock with the closing stock, taking account of store issues and sales.
  • Assist in periodic review of standard recipe and menu costing in order to minimize the variance between actual and potential cost,
  • Follow up and monitor in slow moving items before obsolete.
  • Conduct spot check on a regular basis, to provide accurate records and to identify any stock variance or potential losses
  • Communicate and work closely with store and Buying Officer in a timely manner to complete the posting in a daily basis.

    About you

    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills :

  • Any degree with minimum 2 Years’ experience in the relevant field
  • Experience in hospitality accounting system; POS system, Procurement and inventory system, while knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision / Dynamics 365 Business central is an asset,

    High level of attention to detail and knows how the daily F&B transaction relate to financial data

    Knowledge of materials handling and inventory control.

    Considerable knowledge of requisition procedures, documentation and automated inventory control procedures.

    Working knowledge of inventory systems and MS Office.
