Position Summary The Revenue Cost Analyst conducts analysis and modeling to optimize cost and enhance profitability within the Group This position will channel profitability models and strategic pricing recommendations This role provides analytical insight and competitive analysis for the group and provides analytical support to drive business performance The R C Analyst will perform product and service profitability analysis working closely with Business Units to provide analysis for investment or new product decision making as well as supporting and contributing to the broader financial analysis function Breaks down revenue by individual product and service and determines the company revenue structure Matches revenues to expenses for each Business Unit to determine the relative profitability of each segment Works closely with Business Units to understand key characteristics and revenue cost sources for each product service and customer segments Performs product service or customer level of profitability analysis to support strategic decisions on product service pricing for existing products and new product development marketing campaigns and other product related profitability decisions Analyses customer transaction data and proposes client segmentation criteria Develops product service profitability and performance tracking reporting to clearly communicate actual results trends and identify opportunities Provides data requirements on building out product service customer data tables Validates data accuracy between the general ledger and product service customer level database Performs adhoc analysis as needed to support business and functional priorities Examines data to help with reducing cost in all operations Analyzes the market and identifies opportunities for growth and potential risks Contributes in developing yearly operation plans and estimating new product costs including economic analysis Gives suggestions for moneysaving strategies Analyzes the difference between company costs and standard costs conducting market research and preparing reports for company leadership Determines how to lower costs for the company Leads responsibility for revenue pricing and product service customer profitability analysis Leads strategic pricing processes and tools for the Group Supports commercial strategy execution and drives profit and margin improvement Designs solutions to achieve overall project goals to improve profitability Continuous improvement and review of product and service profitability Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor s degree in Finance Business or relevant field Experience At least 57 years of onthejob experience GCC experience is desirable Skils and Knowledge Indepth knowledge of accounting and costmanagement systems Experience in cost accounting Advanced analytical skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office and expertise within Excel and Access Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy within workload SAP Analytics an advantage
