The primary responsibilities are to deliver investment and spend optimisation, execute cost saving initiatives, manage purchasing, logistics and inventory procedures, and to ensure regulatory and internal governance compliance.
Key metrics relating to these accountabilities are : Category management of circa QR2bn spendPurchasing commitments in excess of QR1.

to-end management of the company Tendering process for the award of all business to vendorsThe key outcomes expected, include delivering substantial and sustainable contributions to company profitability, to match delivery capability with customer demand whilst containing commercial risk.
This requires leadership and management of the end-to-end Supply Chain function, in order to maintain excellent vendor relations and to maximise customer satisfaction, whilst operating the division within company budget constraints.
