  • have a goodunderstanding of the businesses' products or services andbe able to advise others about them
  • ensurestaff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand theneed for change and what is required of them
  • train members of your team, arranging external trainingwhere appropriate
  • discuss promotional strategyand activities with the marketing department
  • liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logisticsdepartments as appropriate
