Comply withstatutory obligation of workers law
To manage and seekto resolve workers grievances and issues at accommodation
Attend meeting with project team, consultant, client etcfor various action and follow up with respect to the site welfarematters
Employee camp inspection (direct and hiredsupplier employees) and follow up
To obtain relevantdata for the welfare monthly report and submit to welfaremanager / consultant
Ensure no one working in site (directunder sun) during summer working restriction hours
Workwith both the employee and employer to ensure healthy and safe workenvironment for the employee
Improving facilities& services like, medical, drinking water, canteen, toilet,rest area,
Informing workers of their rights like wages,overtime rates, leaves etc.
Communicate and ensure withmanagement that workers are getting these services and benefitsproperly
Chairing project welfare committee meeting withproject / hse manager and ensure it has been conducted fortnightly
Meeting discussions and outcome are recorded accurately
Teach and train new workers about their rights,privileges and benefit
Advice management with respect tothe new development in the labour law / policy
Developing workers benefit afterdiscussing with management
Ensure satisfactoryperformance to the workers in general
