Provide expert and professional advice to Management on internal audit matters to ensure that the Company’s objectives are supported with the right audit program.
Supervise the investigation and study of areas identified with weak controls and prone to fraud risk in order to provide recommendations to management for improvement.
Present management reports, including findings on the result of the audit examination, discussing deficiencies and recommending ways to improve management controls and operating efficiency / reduce costs.
Ensure adherence to defined financial policies and procedures.
Regular and ad hoc site inspections
Oversee detailed reviews of financial statements and the financial system in order to ensure efficiency of financial control and risk controls in financial reporting.
Oversee detailed audit reviews of the each function in order to ensure efficiency of internal controls over operational risk.
Review policies and procedures in order to ensure that necessary controls are built into the policies and procedures of the company, coordinates with concerned parties.
Review system changes and enhancements to ensure that they are in alignment with the company’s standards and provide enough data security and control.
Oversee the physical verification of assets as part of the internal audit requirements.
Ensure internal policy compliance and to ensure regulatory compliance
Review from an audit perspective the adequacy of new systems, software, procedures and management controls to accomplish intended objectives.
5 -10 years of work experience
Bachelor degree in Accounts or finance and specialized in Auditing
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Analytical skills and good judgment.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees.
Management skills in resolving audit related issues tactfully.
Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously
