POSITION SUMMARY : Lead Gym Attendant assist theCommunity Services Supervisor with the training and supervision of gymattendant and equipment checkout attendant.

Ensure that equipment is checked constantly for safe operation and taggedvisibly clear with a notice when it is unsafe or unserviceable.

Ensure thatclean towels are on hand and in sufficient quantities and readily available tosupport gym patrons. The Attendant maintain a sufficient supply of cleaning anddisinfectant solution daily.

Additionally, they provide courteous, friendly andprofessional assistance to. Furthermore, they perform additional recreationalduties as prescribed by the Community Services Supervisor.

This positiongenerally ensures the facilities remain clean and that they promote a friendlyatmosphere, by assisting patrons with their questions / equipment needs.

Attendants are responsible for maintaining the highest possible standard ofservice.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES :

1.Assists the CommunityServices Supervisorwith the training,supervision,andleadership ofall assigned VECTRUS-QBOSS GymnasiumAttendant & Equipment Checkout Attendant in Bldg 106 & 109.

2.AssistCommunity Services Supervisor with implementation of quality, safety,environmental and other administrative affairs.

3.Provideoversight of government furnished property.

4.Monitorand ensure accurate accountability of all gym machine and equipment. Conductdaily inventory of GFE.

5.Ensureproper use of disinfectant solutions to ensure equipment is free of bacteriabetween use by patrons (particularly seats, handles, steps, and pedals).

6.Ensurethat equipment is checked constantly for safe operation and tagged visiblyclear with a notice when it is unsafe or unserviceable.

7.Ensurethat clean towels are on hand and in sufficient quantities and readilyavailable to support gym patrons.

8.Ensurethat no towel or personal equipment is issued without being shown of anapproved Gym Membership Card. Ensure attendants will write down the customer'sinformation on the sign-out sheet and have the customers sign the sheet uponsign-out and sign-in of equipment and / or towels.

9.Monitorand Maintain sufficient supply of cleaning and disinfecting solution daily tokeep equipment clean and free of bacteria.

Inform and submit order request for cleaning materialsand disinfectant solution to the supervisor

10.Ensures that at least oneattendant is present at the counter at all times during gym operations.

11.Ensure standards of appearance, cleaning and maintenancepolicies and plans are established and implemented to include outside areaswithin 50 feet around facilities.

12.Responsible for monitoring thequality and quantity of the equipment and services. Perform actual inventory ofequipment every shift .

Make sure that all equipment are clean and disinfectedprior to sign out. Monitor & update all personal equipment for sign-out.

13.Monitor the equipment or items that aresigned-out at the Checkout Counter.

14.Monitor daily cleaning andpolicing of all areas.

15.Check and monitor alignment,sanitation, and condition of Cardiovascular Machines & Weight Equipment.

16.Ensure all water coolers havesufficient supply of bottled water.

17.Make sure that every area hasenough disinfectant bottles and maxi rolls.

18.Report immediately to supervisor anyincident / accident and Unreturned / Missing / Damaged or lost items.

19.Responsible for the gymcleanliness - wipe mirrors, check the trash bin can if full. Remove dust and debrisunderneath the machines.

20.Checking of Chemical CabinetInventory to make sure that there is no other material inside.

21.Encodesign-out / in checklist daily per shift. Monthly filing of all checklists.Monitoring of all checklist .Weekly update the First Aid kit and daily checkingof AED.

Daily monitoringand checking of First Aid materials in all areas.

22.Enforce the Policy at all times. Providecourteous, friendly and professional assistance to patrons.

23.Perform additional recreationalduties as prescribed by the Community Services Supervisor.

24.Customer / Public Relations. Addressingconcerns / suggestions.

25.Performs other duties and assignments as required.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED : Mustbe capable of operating a personal computer equipped with Microsoft software.Be able to produce Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and Power Point .

WORKING ENVIRONMENT : In this position there is exposure to physical and working conditionswhere serious accidents or injuries may occur, exposure to disagreeable noiseelements and prolonged high ambient temperatures.

1.Depending on event schedules, thisposition will require early mornings / late evenings and outdoor work.

2.This position requires dailycontact with all members of the Community, as well as, communication with theForeign National staff.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :

1.Must be able to lift / push / pull aminimum of 45 lbs.
