DohaBased in our office in Doha, Qatar, as a Project Hydrogeologist with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience you will be involved in a wide range of water resources and environmental projects.
Your duties will include both office and field work. You should have the willingness and flexibility to undertake occasional regional travel and assignments when required.
This position serves high-level and timely execution of projects and supports the service line manager and company’s management. Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and supervise field programs for feasibility and groundwater studies, Environmental Impact Assessments, permitting support and technical reporting
Hydrogeological field work (site reconnaissance, groundwater monitoring and sampling, hydraulic well / aquifer testing) :
Perform hydrogeological assessments including data collection, interpretation and on-site quality assurance activities
Supervision of groundwater sampling activities
Field data review, analysis, and interpretation of water quality studies and assessment, hydro geochemistry, pumping and hydraulic response test :
Hydrogeological aquifer characterization and resource assessment
GIS-based data management
Data management including quality control procedure implementation
Analytical / numerical groundwater model development
Make site visits, prepare and write technical reports, contribute preparing scope & proposals, and presentations as necessary.
Technical lead in hydrogeological and environmental projects
Provide coaching and mentoring to junior level staff and field teams
Perform project management duties including, developing budgets, determining project scope, and establishing schedules, and other duties required to ensure quality and profitability QHSSEAccountabilities And Responsibilities

Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Bachelor or higher university / college degree in geology, hydrogeology, geological engineering or geosciences; Master of Science degree in hydrogeology preferred
5-7 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing hydrogeological investigations, site characterization, and development of conceptual models for providing adequate solutions
Demonstrative experience in water well design and installation including hydraulic well testing and qualitative groundwater sampling, and related aquifer test analysis
Experiences in numerical groundwater flow or hydro chemical modelling are an advantage
Experiences in contaminated site characterisation are an advantage
Fluency in spoken and written English
Ability to make decisions, to take initiative and to work in a team, self-confidence
