The Team

The ENTERTAINER Business Team’s mission is to help our clients deliver the best engagement solutions for their customers and staff while establishing the ENTERTAINER business as a leader in the rewards and loyalty industry.

We design, develop and manage reward, engagement and loyalty solutions for our clients across multiple industries. Working with them to define their core objectives, success indicators and measurements.

 

The Merchant Acquisition Executive will be responsible for…

  • Landscaping and maintaining a list of prospective merchants within the F&B, Hotel and Retail industries with a view to enable payment acceptance at their outlets through select digital payment methods
  • Sourcing and establishing new merchant partnerships based on a target list of merchants, which could be a combination of own contact network, referrals, new prospects, cold-calling and door-to-door visits, within the target industries, enabling payment acceptance through select digital payment methods
  • Meeting and presenting to merchants the overall product, customer value proposition, user journeys, negotiating contracts as per desired commercial models, and seeing each partnership through to contract signatures
  • Gathering all necessary assets through signed merchants to facilitate the necessary setup of these merchants across various systems and channels
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing across Qatar
  • Generate, maintain and increase business opportunities with new merchants by virtue of sourcing lucrative and profitable merchant funded offers
  • Day-to-day management of contracted client account deliverables
  • Support the merchants on the payment processes for effective operation of the digital payment ecosystem
  • Ensuring all merchant details are always up-to-date, and merchant staff are up-to-speed on all processes associated with digital payments
  • Maintaining all client records in allocated systems to record merchant contract activities and update relevant information
  • Build and maintain relationships with merchant partners
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including progress and forecasts, daily activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to KPIs

 

Experience required…

  • Have 3+ years’ proven success in B2B/B2C sales; experience in high-activity sales fields preferably within F&B, Retail, Hotels or FMCG
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is also preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong negotiator with an outgoing and motivated outlook
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude to take on new challenges in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enjoy meeting decision makers of F&B, Retail, Hotel and FMCG industries and delivering robust sales pitches to conclude contracts
  • Valid Qatar Driving License and own vehicle required
