INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

Primary purpose of job

  • Provide services to business entities on the application portfolio by identifying, analysing and evaluating the overall business and IT requirements;
  • which contribute to maintaining business continuity, improve business processes, technology advancements and IT asset lifecycle optimization, Special focus on the support of healthcare system & HSE system

    Experience & Skills

  • Excellent understanding of Oil and Gas business processes, practices and related business systems and technical applications
  • Experience in methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, the information used and data on which information is based
  • Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Operates independently using mature judgment in planning and performing assignments and achieving defined objectives
  • Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision making skills and team player with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Implement preventive and corrective actions by performance monitoring and troubleshooting and debugging using knowledge, liaising with multiple solution providers and vendors for enhancing reliability of deployed solutions
  • Evaluate new technologies for architecture and system performance improvements by conducting research and analysis to recommend improvements to Management
  • Apply security measures by following security procedures and standards to ensure secure environment
  • Provide application configuration, customisation, solution enhancements and upgrade; and technical delivery services in terms of providing Technical Applications portfolio by review, analysis and evaluation of business processes as well as related technology which ensures that the supported systems and applications are performing in accordance with the business needs
  • Ability to perform in a highly administrative and structured work environment
  • Strong knowledge of network, systems, desktop applications and databases.
  • Apply security measures by following security procedures and standards to ensure secure environment.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools for reports
  • Working knowledge of Intersystems Healthshare Database, Caché ObjectScript and Intersystems Trakcare application
  • Experience in DotNet Framework
  • Working Knowledge in data extraction and report development.
  • Working Knowledge of Oracle Database, MS SQL Database
  • Well organized and excellent documentation skills.
  • Education

  • Bachelor's in Engineering / Petroleum / Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 9 years of progressive and directly related experience
  • International certifications IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
