Designs, plans,organizes and supports the operations and activities of the HumanCapital projects including change management, succession planning,creation of career paths, job families and competencies across thecompany.

Provides support and consulting advice to talentmanagement programs. Coordinates a variety of workforce andorganizational development programs to achieve superior businessresults.



  • Communicates with administrators, managers and outsideorganization representatives for the purpose of coordinatingactivities and programs, resolving issues and conflicts, andexchanging information.
  • Develops bestpractices to improve organizational performance andeffectiveness.
  • Develops and coordinates withthe Department Managers and Senior Management the strategicplanning to develop effective solutions to meet business challengesand mitigate business risks.
  • Project Management

  • Assumes full accountability for conceiving andexecuting organizational design projects.
  • Designs and implements a variety of workforce andorganization development programs (e.g. employee wellness,leadership development, employee recognition, performanceexcellence, etc.
  • to meet employee needs.

  • Ensures that all projects have a project plan which isreviewed and updated on a regular basis.
  • Identifies data collection tools, data sources,benchmarks, and performance targets.
  • Change Management

  • Works collaboratively with departments toensure effective change management present and executed in allorganizational manners.
  • Develops changemanagement communications for projects and develops mediums togather partner feedback.
  • Succession Planning

  • Provides strategic inputs and guidance tosuccession planning.
  • Be involved inperformance and potential assessment of candidates eligible forhigh potential detection campaign. Contributes to developmentplanning and review of successors for the targetedpositions.
  • Facilitates the whole process andprovide visibility on succession plans. Conducts meetings with thedepartments in order to apply the defined processes.
  • Maintains succession planning records for all criticalpositions and establishes reports.

  • Proactively creates career paths and laddersto retain and develop talent by contributing fair, workable andconsistently administered promotion programs.
  • Makes employee development as a priority along so thatorganization can cultivate these benefits.

  • Ensures properjob family model for staff career development and to supportbusiness strategy.

  • Develops tools to define technical andbehavioural competency frameworks and map expectations for eachlevel of job family.
  • Takes part in theassessment of employees against defined competencies.
  • Creates individual professional development plans toidentify competency gaps and areas for development.
  • Policies, Systems, Processes andProcedures

  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities forthe continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies,processes and practices taking into account international leading practices’ in order toimprove productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Provides critical input to support the development ofSection’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures inorder to meet business requirements.
  • Ensuresteam members comply with all Section’s policies,processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so thatwork is carried out in a controlled and consistentmanner.
  • Quality,Health, Security, Safety and Environment

  • Ensures compliance with regulatoryrequirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security andenvironmental procedures and controls across the Department toguarantee employee safety and delivery of high qualityproducts / services.
  • Reporting

  • Ensures that all documents, forms and generalpaper works are filed in an organized and consistent way ensuring acomplete historical record of organizational structuretransactions.
  • Prepares relative reports in atimely and accurate manner in order to meet the departmentalrequirements, policies and standards.
  • Qatarization

  • Contributes to the development of Qatariemployees. This accountability is applicable to expatriateemployees only.


    Required : BachelorDegree in Business Administration; Human Resources orequivalent.

    Preferred : MasterDegree is an advantage


    Required : 5-7years of experience in Human Resources, leading large-scaleorganization development projects.

    Preferred : Total of5-7 years of experience within Human Resources with a minimum 3years of experience in identifying, designing, and implementingorganizational development solutions in PetrochemicalIndustry.

  • Knowledge ofstate-of-the-art organization development and design, methodologiesand tools.
  • Business Acumen / FinancialAwareness.
  • Good balance of strategic thinkingand hands-on implementation.
  • Highcommunication and influencing skills to use especially withinternal bodies.
  • Ability to diagnoseorganizational problems based upon effective relationships withdepartment managers.
  • Strong project managementskills.
  • Languages

    Required : English -proficient

    Preferred : Arabic-working knowledge
