Our client one of the most renowned Railway Company, is currently looking for a " System Integrator Engineer " willing to work under the following conditions :

Terms & Conditions : Project : Doha Metro

Project : Doha Metro

Project duration : 1 year

Status : Single

Work Schedule : 48hrs per week / 5 Working Days

Mob / Demob tickets : Provided

Medical Insurance : Provided

Accommodation + Transportation : Not provided

Visa work permit : Provided

Objectives

  • CUSTOMER SERVICES DEPARTMENT IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A Technical Support & Service Engineer BASED IN QATAR.
  • The Technical Support & Service Engineer may interface / support other departments such as Engineering, Project & Bid Teams.
  • He will be mainly responsible to provide technical support to the User / Customer, undertaking technical tasks and providing answers to technical queries covering the Communications / Operation control, Security system.
  • Core tasks and responsibilities

  • Working as part of the Services team, the Technical Support & Service Engineer shall :
  • Know the following systems : Integrated Communication, Security, Supervision, Scada.
  • Understand the maintenance works in Operational environment, when the railway is in revenue Service
  • Provide first level of technical support :
  • gather customer's information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms
  • Fix the issue or escalate to Level 2 support to coordinate technical support with engineering experts;
  • Intervene to respond and restore the system failure and put back the system in revenue Service.
  • Coordinate with the PIC, operator and other stakeholders to get the necessary Permit To Work for any intervention
  • Provide the intervention report
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and technical requests about the system;
  • Accurately process and record all events occurring during the shift.
  • by filling the ICC Log file
  • Provide support to internal and external progress reporting;
  • Perform and submit root cause analysis reports for specific incidents that happened on the system;
  • Conform to Company quality procedures and standard practices;
  • Perform shift and emergency duties when required;
  • Perform and carry out duties as instructed / directed by the Line Manager;
  • Note : Communications systems include CCTV, Network, Radio, Digital voice and Video recording, PAS / PIS, Telephone, Video broadcasting, access control, intrusion alarm, etc

    Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering (electrical, telecommunication, computer, etc.
  • Business or equivalent experience

    Skills :

  • Able to understand the functional architecture of a complex supervisory system and its subsystems
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience dealing directly with customer and partners in a service or support role;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills; Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; compares data from different sources to draw conclusions.
  • Global Knowledge of IT.
  • Organizational sense, autonomy and rigor are among your strengths
  • Maintains an ethical approach to business, in line with the Thales ethics policy;
  • Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the Thales Key Values and Management Charter;
  • Leadership of multidisciplinary to achieve tight deadlines in a pressured environment;
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills;
  • A team player getting along well with people of different nationalities and backgrounds;
  • Fluent English;
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation;
  • Experience :

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in railway Communication, Radio, ticketing and signaling techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience in COM,SCADA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in AFC is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in ATC is a plus
  • 2 years in cyber security and IT administration is a plus
  • Certifications in Cisco, Huawei, IBM, HP products, is a plus
  • Working experience within multidisciplinary teams including PMO, Estimating, Engineering, Finance, HSE & Quality disciplines
