The Product Manager position is a midlevel position responsible for Point Of Sale eCommerce Solutions processing products This role has considerable client interaction which allows for significant input in the strategic product roadmap The product owner will also work closely with a crossfunctional team to coordinate development and delivery of industryleading product offerings The job is expected to identify new product trends in the cards acceptance space and align the business roadmap with the same Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements defining the product vision and working closely with sales portfolio relationship and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met The job also includes ensuring that the product supports the cards payments overall strategy and goals It is to be achieved through liaison with key stakeholders to implement new product initiatives from both strategic as well as tactical perspective Assist cards business in meeting future challenges build relationships with merchant groups to increase spends on respective products across merchant base within the organization and maximize product opportunities 4 QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE OTHER SKILLS Minimum Academic Qualifications Graduate Years of Experience 3 to 4 years 5 RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Provide technical expertise in identifying evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet merchant requirements Defining documenting and communicating product vision strategy and direction Work on POS eCommerce dynamic currency conversion Buy Now Pay Later payment processing flows and industry by using mobile application payment gateway platforms Responsible for rolling out the complexity of the eCommerce DCC BNPL payments systems including specific features and market needs for our clients Analyses competitor activity in order to provide the business s product with a competitive edge over competition Ensure compliance with all applicable card scheme associations and Qatar Central Bank regulations Maintain appropriate controls and governance in accordance with Commercial Bank merchant acquiring policy and procedures Collaborate with Sales Client Consulting Account Management and Marketing to develop product launches and communication strategies as well as post launch ongoing sales support and merchant education Aligns product launch activities with marketing activities This is achieved through furnishing the sales team with competitor analysis market analysis business performance analysis and other research information In this capacity he also ensures that the product literature is accurate and relevant Carry out the daytoday relationship activities through the utilization of respective product CBQ client database making periodic calls and arrange meetings with existing clients in order to drive higher Dynamic currency conversion Buy Now Pay Later Instant Discount hit rate and achieve set annual targets Manage the collaboration process with CBQ internal stakeholders for the delivery of products and services in order to deliver high quality of service for the customers Provide Train the Trainer and direct merchant training as required and agreed also perform product demos to customer Perform and prepare competitive and S W O T Analysis Establish business case financial justification and project charter as applicable Lead manage business growth and achievement of the divisions respective product assigned targets within acceptable risk appetite framework and target returns Grow client list and identify new DCC opportunities in the markets Identify the prospects within the relevant area from referrals and use market knowledge to acquire new respective product clients Provide regular monitoring of market and competitive trends strategies and key performance indicators individual and departmental budgets on merchant product turnover product Income and product hit rate Maximise cross selling of acquiring products services to the existing client portfolio to maintain higher retention percentage Coordinate with vendor on regular basis in order to maintain the service requirements raised by merchant internal cards team Participate in regular structured client meetings and ensure all key clients are personally met with higher frequencies for the top tier clients and circulate a call report on all calls visits Ensure opportunities are identified market information on developments as appropriate is gathered and business referred to other teams is provided in a standard format Establish product commercialization strategy is responsible for the identification of new opportunities service improvements and cost reductions In addition contributes to the determination of pricing and profitability of the product inclusive of the approval of special pricing where necessary Carry out regular interaction with IT Operations Risk and other departments to achieve and deliver best of customer experience and services Ensure resolution of queries and issues reported by merchants with in the applicable time frame To be familiar with respective product card schemes regulations products updates fees and charges Be an expert with respect to the competition Deliver a monthly revenue forecast develop sales tools and collateral suggest product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals Prepare departmental product specific management information system statements and reports timely and accurately to meet department requirements policies and standards Closer interaction with merchant along with the respective relationship managers to optimise usage in respective product and retain the market share Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
