DohaIn this job role you will provide application support and maintenance of IT systems in Group Safety business area. Your primary responsibilities includeHandling support calls and tickets assigned by IT Help Desk and provide timely support to business users to ensure business continuity.
Analyse system faults, assess severity levels and provide adequate solutions.Conduct root cause analysis of fault calls and reduce recurrence of similar incidents.
Plan and execute application upgrades, server migration and any IT change implementation process.Engage application vendors for issue resolutions, track progress of issues assigned to vendors and periodically update statuses in internal tracking systems.
Conduct periodic system health review, fault call reporting and provide reports and insights to the management.About You : To be successful in the role you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics / Sciences.
You must have at least 3 years’ experience in application management and support, preferably handling large mission critical applications.
You must be experienced in application support, maintenance and stakeholder management. You should have hands on experience in troubleshooting applications and the following technologies like SQL, IIS, C#, WCF, Web Services and HTML.
You should also have good analytical, interpersonal skills, communication skills and be a good team player. Knowledge of Airline Safety domain will be an added advantage.Click Here To Apply Online
