DohaFull descriptionKey responsibilitiesEnsure all aspects of IT & Telecommunications and Broadcast technology services are implemented according to FIFA requirementsFollow-up with various stakeholders, providers, and government entities in relation to ensuring delivery of connectivity as per agreed service levelsFacilitate the collection and distribution of requirements of all client groups involved in the FIFA World Cup 2022 (especially from Media and Broadcasters)Ensure that all information pertaining to infrastructure, services and spaces needed for the delivery and support of Event IT and Broadcast IT services are communicated to, and understood by, venue / site authorities and respective delivery teamsConduct technology needs assessments (Technology Equipment Allocation Process) and plan the delivery of suitable end user technology equipment and services to all FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 departments and FIFA constituent groups, including hardware, services and consumablesAsset tracking and management of deployed equipmentPlan in collaboration with FIFA and Host Country relevant parties (private and governmental) for the venue / site support and monitoring of network and services during the tournament and Competition Related Events, covering all the levels of support and communicationsTrack the progress of structural build-out and IT implementation leading up to the timely availability of components and services and including the commissioning and final decommissioning of the venuesDevelop regular progress, risk and issue management reports according to IT governance and keep counterparts alignedSupport the development and the maintaining of the IT master delivery planSupport the development of the IT readiness program, including but not limited to : redeployment, event policies and procedures elaboration, training, readiness exercises preparation and execution.

  • Contribute with the design of the IT services and operationBuild and manage the team composed of paid staff, volunteers and contractors for operating the venue / site aligned with the overall FIFA strategy for running the eventEnsure that all IT related services are being tracked in the ITSM and supported as per SLAs, as part of the IT support modelEnsure positive attitude from the Venue Event IT teams and good relationship with all the parties, including FIFA teams, Q22 areas / projects, end-users, suppliers, Host Country in IT Infrastructure Implementation and operationQualifications and experienceA minimum experience of 5 years in an Event IT / Venue Technology environmentStrong IT skill, especially in IT service deliveryStrong Project Management skillsExperience in international sports / event managementUniversity degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training / vocational education)Ability to design, comprehend and follow business process is essentialGood communication skillsExperience or knowledge of local culture is essentialFluency in English is essential;
  • fluency in Arabic is an assetTeam Player, willing to work to tight timelinesFlexibility to deal with constant changes in dynamic environmentsPositive attitude, patience and persistence
