The Signage and Dressing project is utilising multiple functions, entities and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
These principally include, but are not exclusive to, FIFA Brand Management, Supreme Committee Signage & Dressing, FIFA / Q22 appointed Production Supplier and the FIFA appointed Design Agency.
The Signage and Dressing Venue Manager will be assigned to a competition venue or non-competition venues and will oversee all signage and dressing operations in the lead-up to, during and in the dismantling phase of FWC22.
They will be responsible for managing all internal and external stakeholder relationships within their assigned venue including with FIFA / Q22 functional areas, contracted providers, host country parties and official site management.
Their goal will be to ensure a flawless delivery of the Signage and Dressing project for the FWC22
The Signage and Dressing project for FWC22 focuses on ensuring that all tournament official sites, associated locations and ancillary events are branded effectively to offer the maximum, high-quality visibility for FIFA and its commercial affiliates.
The project will also ensure that site and event functionality is optimised by installing wayfinding signage and dressing strategically selected locations in collaboration with the relevant functional areas and the appointed dressing and signage provider.
The Signage and Dressing Venue Manager will be required to have a strong personality with the right skills, experience and knowledge to quickly integrate into a fast paced, challenging and exciting environment.
Ensuring that all elements of FWC22 event signage and dressing for the assigned venue are produced and implemented to the highest possible standard and according to FIFA Brand and Commercial Affiliate Guidelines.
Planning and Overseeing the installation of materials in collaboration with the Q22 Signage and Dressing department and ensuring this is implemented to agreed schedules.
Manage on-site relationship with counterparts from the contracted Dressing and Signage provider(s) for FWC22.
Collaborate closely with the Q22 Signage and Dressing department to ensure the Host Country team and their operations outside of the site perimeter are fit-for-purpose and integrated successfully into the overall site delivery.
In partnership with the Signage and Dressing Wayfinding and Transport Manager for the FWC22, capture and deliver all wayfinding needs for the assigned venue.
Handle and filter requests from other Functional Areas and Projects assigned to the venue for additional dressing and signage needs or information.
Advise Q22 Signage and Dressing department on additional needs and instruct installation provider to provide all technical information as required.
Advise on design requirements for any additional inventory ordered.
Act as point of contact for any Signage and Dressing queries from venue, FIFA or Q22 staff at allocated venue(s).
Quality control of all products and installations and reporting any defects to management or to the contractor as necessary.
Recommending any improvements, additions and spot-checking for errors in the produced inventory.
On-site representation for all matches at the assigned venue and troubleshoot any issues by finding the most appropriate solutions as necessary.
Attend all venue daily meetings, and any other appropriate venue and team meetings as requested.
Overseeing the dismantling process for the venue, recording any damages as required and ensuring it is completed safely and to the required regulations and standards.
Experience of working on-site at a major sporting event in a Dressing and Signage, Look or Branding function (required).
Understanding of signage production and installation processes.
Experience in wayfinding signage implementation in events.
Substantial experience in Project and Brand Management.
Be familiar with managing one or several suppliers.
English fluency (required).
Experience with online collaboration tools (an asset).
