MAJOR JOBACTIVITIES :
Providessubject matter expertise support and services in the AV EngineeringTeam supporting a DoD organization with video teleconferencingservices.
Resolves systemoperational problems by troubleshooting and performing faultisolation.
Repairs,replaces, or reprograms faulty equipment, as required.
Schedules AV / VTC sessions,maintains a call schedule and coordinates reservations andscheduling of AV / VTC services with outside agencies for executivelevel users.
Performssetups, tests, adjustments, operations, and shutdowns of equipmentin support of AV / VTC sessions.
Provides client consulting and training on control,interfaces, and use of the audio / visual and VTCequipment.
Acts asequipment custodian and performs inventory asset management andaccountability functions.
Provides life cycle refresh projections for AV / VTCinfrastructure and AV equipment build out projects.
Conducts site surveys to establishAV / VTC Systems and equipment customer requirements.
Provides on-site support primarilyat main customer site location; provides occasional alternate orsatellite site support and / or travel as needed.
Responsible for evaluating,designing, documenting, installing, implementing, testing,maintaining, operating, removing and upgrading, and modifying videoteleconferencing equipment systems.
