For the Qatar Rail project we are looking for a Technical Interface Engineer (f / m / d). Responsibilities :
Review the interface of 3rd party applications on land parcels in reference to the interface with Metro / Tram / LD / Freight sections of the Doha Rail Project
Deal with Municipality Building permit online system to review the submission form Architecture, structure, MEP drawings, calculation, reports
Create procedures and methods dealing with Stakeholder interface / coordination
Provide coordination assistance, guidance and advise to architects, engineers, developers, contractors, building owners, and various department personnel by providing a coordination / interface / stakeholder
Review and evaluate reports to ensure all stakeholders are fully involved and key NOCs are applied and received
Maintain logs and records of work performed, prepare monthly track record.
Review the Design submission, assess, evaluate, and respond to the third party requests, design, engineering, and construction documents including plans to ensure compliance with Qatar Rail requirements
Review and evaluate any future issues and deal with them in a timely manner
Evaluate contractors’ performance in meeting agency requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Civil or related engineering discipline
A minimum of 4 years of documentable experience in Civil and Structural engineering with metro background / Interface within Qatar;
experience in design and construction.
Knowledge of Building Codes and construction background with the understanding of the statutory requirements of Qatar
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Excellent technical writing skill (English & Arabic)
Experience with web based collaboration technologies for project information and process management software as Aconex is desirable.
Registered as professional engineer would be an asset.
