POSITION SUMMARY :

Reporting to Lead Instructor the Instructor will primarily be responsible for the design, development and day-to-day delivery of training courses.

To assist the Lead Instructor / HOD / Training Manager as and when required. Additional responsibilities include ensuring safety and welfare of delegates within facilities, equipment servicing and routine maintenance is carried out as per applicable standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :

•Overall training and educational delivery.

•Design, development and implementation of training programs.

•Development of lesson plans, course presentations and training manuals.

•Development of risk assessments. JSA. Method statements.

•Advise and support customers within own area of expertise.

•Ensure relevant professional standards and development are maintained.

•Train support staff and QISC employees where applicable.

•Monitor and assess delegate performance in line with relevant standards.

•Monitor and assess internal procedures are being followed by support staff.

•Ensure adherence to all HSE policies, procedures and standards to safeguard company assets.

•Participate in regular meetings with Lead Instructor / Training Manager to discuss planning and delivery of training courses.

•Contact with industry counterparts to discuss common training goals and developments.

•Any other relevant responsibilities assigned by Line Manager / HOD

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :

•Bachelor Degree, Diploma in any discipline

•Min. 3-4 years of experience in similar role in oil and gas industry.

•Relevant Professional Qualifications; TAQA Assessor or similar + PTLLS or similar

•Driving License

POSITION SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•Fluent Communication in English (Preferred Equivalent to IELTS 5).

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite : word, excel, power point.

•Professional attitude.

•Time Management with ability to prioritize tasks.

•Keen Analytical Skill.

•Presentation skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The employee may be required to lift and / or move objects of up to 25 pounds. Hearing, seeing ability of rapid mental coordination.

It is required to be mentally alert for entire regular shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

This position works in QISC. Madina Group will supply adequate training and equipment to meet the functions of the job. Minimum travel may be required.
