This is a hands-on, varied exhibition management role to drive revenue through exhibition stand, sponsorship and added-value sales and ensure outstanding customer service to our exhibitors, sponsors and partners.
Manage the successful execution of the event liaising with Operations, the Venue and Marketing.
Regular and accurate forecasting of the project
Overall performance against budget responsibility
To understand the budget and work within those constraints
Have a good understanding of the exhibiton industry and forge relationships with current / new associations and organisations to maintain / gain support in relevant industries, some of which may be non-commercial
Examine the short and long term development of the product throughout the marketplace, in order to identify new business / acquisition opportunities
Develop new show features to continually improve the visitor experience
Create an interactive, inspirational and innovative show ensuring it continue to be relevant and on trend
Maintain regular contact and visit existing and potential clients to ensure current and new business is developed
To visit exhibitions and other events in order to make contact with current clients and develop relationships with potential clients
To seek out, evaluate and develop new business opportunities through organic growth / new product development to maximise revenues
Regularly review and monitor competitive publications / exhibitions and identify new leads to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised
Develop sponsorship and branding opportunities within your product location and develop cross product opportunities.
Monitor sales figures and report on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
To provide Agent support and information on any new developments, sales tools, marketing opportunities, trend information and so on for your product
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
