Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established byEmiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oiland gas industry in the State of Qatar.

The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures arethe exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil,natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels,petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminium.

Primary purpose of job

Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to provide an efficient back office tax & accounting support and administration service for Tax division, Asst.

Manager Tax, supervisors and Sr. Tax Specialists. Assists in preparing tax filing for various jurisdictions. Prepares weekly basis timely manner reports on the coming tax activities and distribute the list within the division.

Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting and Finance Environment with exposure to Tax, accounting support.
  • Competent level of proficiency in English. Bilingual is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suites such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. User level knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administrative work.
  • Strong writing and overall communication skills is required.
  • Education

    Graduate in Finance & Accounting or in relevant field.
