To deliver, at all times, high-qualitysecurity services for the Project by applying professionalexpertise and management along with compliance against thecontractual requirements.
To effectively develop andimplement all security-related policies and procedures within theProject contract that are in line with the corporate and Clientrequirements.
To develop and document the ServiceLevel Agreements (SLAs) with the Client.
To ensurethat all security-related equipment is maintained at all times, andensure staff are operating the equipment in the propermanner.
To deal with any security alerts inaccordance with agreed procedures.
To project ahelpful, friendly and courteous attitude, and ensure that allsecurity staff follow the same.
To be of smartappearance at all times and to be observant at all times and ensurethat all guards are in proper uniform.
To ensure allsecurity staff respond to emergency incidents in accordance withthe contract specification.
To liaise with externalagencies such as Police, Fire Department, etc. to ensure securityis maintained at all times, as required.
Also, to liaise with theSecurity Compliance Manager for the Client.
To ensureall staff receive the appropriate training sessions and identifyadditional training requirements.
To ensure thatunauthorized persons do not gain access to the restricted areas ofthe site.
To be fully aware of key roles in emergencyprocedures and major accidents.
To comply withCompany rules and regulations.
Provide generalsupervision, co-ordination and control of the security team, undertheir responsibility.
Provide staff administration,which includes covering duty rosters through sickness and leavewhere applicable.
Covering rota positions withovertime where appropriate, and with the prior authority.
Ensure that the security officers within their teamcomplete any training as required, and address any areas that arenot being fulfilled.
Liaise as necessary with clientrepresentatives and customers maintaining good communication linksto resolve any matters (queries / issues) that may arise in anefficient and effective manner.
Supervise andco-ordinate stock control and material inventories, maintainingsystems and processes. Inform Line Manager of material requests inadvance for the completion of security functions.
Recommend surplusstock in line with Stock Management guidelines.
Havea positive attitude and flexible approach to work demands. Coachand direct the Security Services team to ensure that they deliver aprofessional service.
Maintain an efficient AccidentReporting process, keeping all records up to date and filedaccordingly.
When on duty, be accountable andresponsible for providing a management presence.
Support and promote the Company Vision and Values, encouraging goodperformance with the promotion of Employee of The Month andEmployee of The Year.
To fulfill Health &Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of theCompany's Health & Safety Policy and Health& Safety management system.
To support theCompany's Quality Policy Statement and actively participatein the achievement of Company and personal Qualityobjectives.
To undertake such other dutiesappropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably berequired within the Department / Service.
Significant permanentchanges in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to thisJob Description.
