As a Sous chef you will be assigned to oversee many diverse aspects of the restaurant. You’ll manage and work closely with the head chefs, sharing new ideas and concepts and play an important role in and create / develop menu offerings, forecast supply needs, assist in preparing duty rosters, the food costs reports, inventor report, placing orders to the procurement team using ERP, assist in supervising subordinate staffs in the kitchen, conduct training and orientation for them, of the Restaurant’s Back of House.
You will be responsible for making sure the kitchen as well as each team member comply and meets all company regulations, including sanitary and safety guidelines.
You will be expected to work long hours inclusive of nights, weekends and holidays.Experience and Qualification : Minimum of 4 years work experience in similar position or more experienced as Senior Chef de Partie.
Having a culinary degree or relevant field would be an advantage.Preferences : Candidates inside Qatar, ready to join with NOC will be prioritized.
