Brief Description
To keep the store in a systematic and professional mannerthat fit the specifications of Qatar Diabetes Association. The incumbent isrequired to maintain the store room and keep full record of the stockmaterials, documents & correspondence properly.
Detailed Description
Carries out all activities of assigned personnel at QDA
Assists in the receipt of the new material, receives material issue requests and issues required office supplies to staffs for office use or QDA functions.
Carries out implementation of inventory control methods & ensures optimum stock levels. Takes decisions and liaise with QDA staff to ensure optimum level of spares available in stocks.
Ensures proper book keeping and materials stocks are exactly as per the records.
Ensures materials are stored as per the compatibility.
Carry out the regular stock checks and give feedback to his supervisor about the stock levels.
Ensures material shelf lives are taken care and manages the inventory accordingly.
Assists in the preparation of annual lists of excess offices supplies and consumable materials.
Reviews consumption, discusses interchangeability with his supervisor, initiates purchase requisitions for new materials
Ensures that good housekeeping is practiced at all times.
Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
10-year basic education & 3 years of relevant full-time work or educational experience
2 3 years experience in storekeeping or inventory management
Interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Fluency in Arabic and English, written and oral skills are essential.
Computer literacy : MS windows application (word processing, excel, Spreadsheets, etc..)Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office applications
